Staycations vs Cheap Holidays Abroad
The first time I heard the word staycation was from a friend of mine last year. She said doing staycations is way better than having long vacations somewhere far. Aside from being cheap, it is easier to organize.
But from the infographic shown above, it says differently. Well, I am not saying my friend is wrong but what I am trying to point out, it different in every place and where you are coming from. For us who are living in the tropical countries, staycations might work best especially in spring pool resorts or the beach were we can just cool down but if you are from other country, especially the cold ones, taking a vacation to a tropical paradise is way better and more or less cheap or of the same value.
So, if you are up for some sun and get away from the coldness of your place, taking vacations might be the best for you!

My Family’s First Plane Ride
… is about to happen this November 2011. Yes, my husband, my children and I are going to have our first family plane ride to Manila this month. We are going to spend a “three days and two nights vacation” in our country’s capital. Thanks to Cebu Pacific Air’s Piso Fare Promo held earlier this year, I was able to grab an awesome round trip ticket deal. I only paid less than 4000 pesos for the five of us!! Awesome!!
Anyway, my children are excited to have their first plane ride especially my two older children since they always dreamed of riding one and see the clouds up close! As for me, I am also excited. This is our first family vacation in Manila!!
